Dubai, April 25 / WAM / Real estate transactions in the Dubai Land Department today amounted to more than 1.4 billion dirhams.
The department witnessed the registration of 395 pledges of allegiance at a value of 1.02 billion dirhams, including 35 pledges of allegiance to land, at a value of 348.11 million dirhams, and 360 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 673.91 million dirhams.
The most important land sales came with a value of 167 million dirhams in the World Islands region, followed by a pledge of 17 million dirhams in the Mamzar area, followed by a pledge of 16 million dirhams in the first Jebel Ali area.
The fifth region of Al-Habibiyah topped the regions in terms of the number of sales, as it recorded 8 sales at a value of 24 million dirhams, followed by the city of Hind 4, with 7 sales at a value of 14 million dirhams, and a third in Al-Mamzar, with 5 sales at a value of 45 million dirhams.
With regard to the most important sales of apartments and villas, the sale amounted to 15 million dirhams in the Business Bay area, as the most important sale, followed by the sale of 11 million dirhams in the Dubai Marina area, and finally the sale of 10 million dirhams in the Palm Jumeirah area.
Dubai Marina topped the regions in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 49 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 113 million dirhams, followed by the Al Barsha area south of the fourth, with 34 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 28 million dirhams, and a third in Al Khairan Al-Awwal, with 28 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 57 million dirhams.
The mortgages recorded a value of 418.13 million dirhams, including 19 mortgages for land at a value of 152.49 million dirhams and 67 mortgages for villas and apartments with a value of 265.64 million dirhams.
As for donations, 27 donations were recorded, with a value of 37.78 million dirhams, the most important of which was in the first area of Al-Habibiyah, with a value of 12 million dirhams, and another in the fourth area of Al-Thanya, with a value of 6 million dirhams.
