Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 4-1 in the second phase of the Spanish Football League.

Real Madrid swept its host Celta Vigo 4-1, in the second phase of the Spanish Football League.

Real Madrid advanced through Karim Benzema from a penalty kick in the 14th minute, before Celta Vigo equalized through Iago Aspas in the 23rd minute.

In the 41st minute, Luka Modric scored the second goal for Real, then Vinicius Junior added the third goal in the 56th minute.

Federico Valverde scored the fourth goal for Real in the 66th minute.

Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard missed a penalty kick in the 87th minute.

The meeting began with attempts by Celta Vigo to score the goal, amid defensive resistance from Real Madrid, who tried to avoid receiving an early goal in his net outside his home, as happened in the first match against Almeria.

In the 11th minute, the referee awarded a penalty kick for Real Madrid after the ball touched the hand of Celta Vigo defender Tapia inside the penalty area and Karim Benzema successfully translated it into the net, scoring the first goals for Real.

The referee awarded another penalty, but this time for Celta Vigo, after the ball touched the hand of Brazilian Ader Militao inside the penalty area, before Iago Aspas successfully translated it into the net in the 23rd minute.

In the 41st minute, Real Madrid scored his second goal through Luka Modric; A neat shot from outside the box.

The rest of the first half minutes did not witness anything new, so the referee blew the final whistle, with the riyal advancing 2-1.

With the start of the second half, Celta Vigo launched several attacks to score the equalizer.

In the 52nd minute, Pansencia hit a sudden ball from the left side of the Real Madrid defense, but his shot went to the right post of Courtois’ goal.

From a quick counter-attack, Luka Modric passed a superb ball to his colleague Vinicius, who was unique in Celta Vigo’s goal to dodge the goalkeeper and put the ball into the net, scoring the third goal.

The referee blew the whistle at the end of the second half, with Real winning 4/1.
