Real Madrid CF: Rodrygo Signs Contract Extension Until 2028 and Impacts Team’s Success

Real Madrid CF and Rodrygo have reached an agreement to extend the player’s contract, who is now linked to the club until June 30, 2028.

Rodrygo arrived at Real Madrid in 2019, aged just 18. He debuted with Real Madrid Castilla on September 14, before scoring his first goal on his official debut for Real Madrid on September 25.

During the five seasons in which he defended the first team jersey, he played 179 matches, for a total of 38 goals scored and 8 titles won: 1 Champions League, 1 Club World Cup, 1 Super Cup. Europe, 2 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 2 Spanish Super Cups.

At just 22 years old, Rodrygo has been instrumental in many of the titles he has won with Real Madrid in recent seasons. On the way to the fourteenth European Cup, Rodrygo scored several goals that allowed Real Madrid to pass these qualifiers which have now become part of our history. During the team’s last title, the 2023 Copa del Rey in Seville, he scored the two winning goals (2-1) and was elected MVP of the final.
