Real Madrid consolidated its lead in the Spanish Football League, following its victory over its host Mallorca 3-0, today, Monday, in the 28th stage of the Spanish Football League.

Real Madrid raised its score to 66 points at the top of the competition standings, ten points ahead of second-placed Seville, while Mallorca’s balance froze at 26 points in 16th place.

The victory comes to write a new chapter of brilliance for the royal team, which qualified a few days ago to the quarter-finals of the European Champions League, following its 3-1 victory over its guest Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid waited until the 55th minute for Brazilian Vinicius Junior to score for him, before French Karim Benzema added the second goal from a penalty kick in the 77th minute.

In the 82nd minute, Benzema scored his second and third goal for his team.

Next Sunday, Real Madrid is preparing to face its arch-rival Barcelona in the El Clasico, at the Santiago Bernabeu, in the 29th round of La Liga.
