Real Madrid win the Champions League after beating Liverpool

Real Madrid won the European Champions League title following beating Liverpool 1-0 in the final in Paris, following the start of the match was postponed more than half an hour for security reasons, on Saturday.

The Brazilian Vinicius Junior scored the game’s only goal following following the shot of his colleague Federico Valverde in the 59th minute, to bring Real between the Spanish League and the Champions League.

But the main credit for Real’s victory goes to Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who saved a large number of difficult opportunities from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane over the course of the two halves of the match.

Real strengthened his record and became the European champion for the 14th time in its history.

The start of the match was postponed 36 minutes as the police tried to keep some fans away from wanting to storm their way towards the Stade de France in Paris.
