Recall of Häagen-Dazs products due to traces of plant protection products: here are the ice creams concerned

Les produits concernés sont Belgian Chocolate (8X460 ml), Vanilla Pecan Prem (8X460 ml), Macadamia Nut Brittle Prem (8X460 ml), Cookies&Cream (8X460 ml), Pralines&Cream (8X460 ml), Macadamia Nut Brittel (24X95 ml), Duo Belgian Choc&Vanilla (8X420 ml), Duo Vanilla Brown & Rasp (8X420 ml), Duo Vanilla Hazelnut & Car (8X420 ml) et Macadamia Nut Brittel ((12X4)X80 ml).

These were notably marketed in Belgium and Luxembourg by Carrefour, Resuma, Colruyt, Delfood, Delhaize, Delitraiteur, Makro, Match and Cora, between May 17 and August 3 in different types of packaging (jars, “minicups ” and cardboard boxes).

The manufacturer, General Mills, found traces during a test showing the use of ethylene oxide, a carcinogenic pesticide banned in Europe. According to the company, a vanilla supplier is the source of the problem.

It is therefore recommended not to consume the product and to bring it back to the store, where it will be reimbursed.
