Iran, which is in talks with the West, said it had received a written response from the US on the EU’s arbitration proposal.
According to the state-run IRNA news agency on the 24th (local time), Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Nasser Khanani announced on the 24th that it had received a written opinion from the US on the final arbitration plan proposed by the EU.
“The Iranian government is carefully reviewing the US response,” Khanani added.
The U.S. State Department also confirmed that it had delivered its opinion on the EU arbitration proposal to Iran.
“We have reviewed Iran’s response to the EU arbitration proposal,” State Department spokeswoman Ned Price said at a briefing.
On the 15th, Iran delivered a written response to the EU arbitration proposal to the West.
The EU, which has been mediating negotiations, has evaluated Iran’s opinion as reasonable and acceptable to most Western countries.
