An old beverage that it was time to dust off. Considered the medicine of pilgrims in the 12th century, very popular in the 19th century and long seen as the alcohol of the ancients, Armagnac nevertheless conceals many gustatory pleasures. An eau-de-vie produced by distilling dry white wines, the digestive from the South-West of France receives a twist of freshness in this recipe, while being slightly acidic and terribly greedy.

Ingredients :

Armagnac: 5clLime juice: 2.5clSimple sugar syrup: 2.5clEgg white: 1.5clAngostura Bitters: 3 dashes or a few dropsDiscover 4 original and refreshing mocktail recipes

The preparation :

Swirl a few ice cubes in your cocktail glass to cool it.In your shaker, pour the Armagnac, the lime juice, the simple sugar syrup then the egg white.Shake for 10 seconds without ice cubes.Add 8 to 10 ice cubes then shake again for 15 seconds.Remove the ice cubes from the cocktail glass.Strain the cocktail into the glass.Place a few drops (or 3 dashes) of Angostura Bitters on the foam of your mixture.You can also place a slice of dried lemon on your preparation. Your Armagnac sour is ready!
