On September 9, 2021, barely 20 years old, Ethan put himself in danger and also exposed other motorists he encountered on his route to possible danger. After a night of drinking and bringing a friend home, Ethan was asked to pull over by a police patrol. After pretending to park, the defendant accelerated to flee the police. Without a license, without insurance, under the influence of drink, without wearing a seat belt, at high speed in a zone limited to 50 km/h, zigzagging and driving in the wrong direction, Ethan saw fit to act in this way.

Already sentenced to a work sentence before the police court, the young driver receives a new independent work sentence of 140 hours by the Charleroi criminal court. If these hours are not completed, fifteen months in prison are planned.
