Before you join the SPPyou must have contributed 4 years (48 contribution units) to the SNP, either consecutively or not. You must have contributed to the SNP during the following dates:
- Bono 1992: between December 6, 1982 and December 5, 1992.
- Bono 1996: between January 1, 1987 and December 31, 1996. In this case, it is required that the affiliation to the SPP occurred between November 6, 1996 and December 31, 1997.
- Bono 2001: between January 1, 1992 and December 31, 2001.

HOW TO ACCESS THE RECOGNITION BONUS?
- In order to access the Recognition Bonusyou must apply to the Pension Fund Administrator (AFP) to which you belong, who have a period of 60 days to review your request for bond issuance and send it to the Pension Standardization Office (ONP).

RECOGNITION BONUS PAYMENT TIME
The time of payment depends on the special pension situation in which you are at the time of submitting your application:
- Issuance and ordinary redemption: if the holder is under 65 years of age. In this case, the bonus is paid on the last business day of the two-month period prior to that in which the holder reaches the age of legal retirement (65 years).
- Simultaneous issue and redemption: if the owner is 65 years of age or older, has died, or has been declared a permanent total disability. In such cases, the Recognition Bonus will be paid to the beneficiaries or to the holder with a disability, within 90 calendar days from the filing of the application.
