FRESNO. Although the Fresnillo extension Human Medicine Unit does not lack infrastructure to provide care to students, the limitation for the growth of the unit is the lack of clinical fields in the demarcation, declared the rector of the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), Rubén Ibarra Reyes.

Despite recent complaints from students regarding infrastructure deficiencies in the unit, the rector reported that they have enough classrooms and laboratories to attend to the number of students currently enrolled in this university career.

Likewise, he recognized that there are clinical fields in which to work, but the unit cannot serve more students than it has at the moment because the clinical fields barely supply the 450 students that make up the unit.
