As always in August, Take Two Interactive gives us an appointment with investors to discover the publisher’s tax balance sheet and discover the new sales figures for all of the firm’s games. Once once more, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption II shine.

During the previous quarter, Red Dead Redemption II was regarding to reach 55 million units sold with 54 million games sold since the release of the title in October 2018. After a short period of crossing the desert, the sales of the last title of Rockstar had risen once more in recent quarters, enabling millions of additional units sold to be accumulated.

During the last quarter, sales began to stagnate once more with only one million additional units sold, allowing Red Dead Redemption II to reach a total of 55 million games sold. A great feat if we take into account that Red Dead Onlinethe title’s multiplayer mode has been completely abandoned for more than a year and a half.

Regarding the Red Dead saga, the latter now peaks at 79 million games sold. Figures that should start to rise once more since next week, Red Dead Redemption will return to center stage with its expansion Undead Nightmare thanks to a port on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.
