The redesigned Apple TV app launches today, making it easy for users to watch all of Apple’s award-winning premium programming on their favorite devices.
Apple today launched a redesigned Apple TV app that makes it easier for users to watch Apple’s award-winning original series and movies, as well as live sports, movies and TV, on their favorite Apple devices, smart TVs, streaming sticks, and game consoles programs and other content. A new sidebar simplifies the interface to help users quickly navigate the app, allowing them to easily access Apple TV+, a platform for Apple Original series and movies; MLS Season Pass, a platform for watching Major League Soccer; and the Store, where users can purchase and A platform to rent popular movies; and shortcuts to channels and apps that viewers already have, such as Disney+, Paramount+ and Max.

A new sidebar navigation is also available on Home, providing a consolidated guide to all of your favorite shows, movies and sports events. In Home, the Channels & Apps section allows users to drill down into each channel they subscribe to or connected app. The collection includes “New Shows & Movies”, “Rankings”, “Trending” and “For You”, which provide the best recommended content, allowing viewers to enjoy the latest, popular and specially selected content for them.

On living room devices, the sidebar will also provide a profile function, allowing families to quickly switch users to provide a better personalized experience in “Up Next” and content recommendations throughout the app.
