It is an emblematic building of Cortaillod which is about to disappear. After closing its doors at the end of 2022, the hotel-restaurant Le Chalet will be demolished. Established in the village, the Masini group intends to raze it to start two new buildings.
The first building, planned near the land, would offer for sale 23 owned apartments per floor. The second building, located on the current plot of the Chalet, will include 14 protected apartments, as well as a space of 120m2 on three floors, planned for a medical center. For the moment, the exact nature of the medico-social zone is not defined. This location could be dedicated to other similar missions, such as a nursery or a dentist’s office. A major project
The total construction cost of the project is between 15 and 20 million francs. It will offer nearly 50 underground and outdoor parking spaces as well as 70 spaces for two-wheelers. From an energy point of view, the complex will include geothermal wells and more than 170 photovoltaic panels on the roof.
The date of the start of the work remains unclear for the moment. It will depend on the outcome of the consultation procedure which ends on Monday and the sale of the apartments in PPE. Anyway, the inauguration is not planned before 2025. /crb
