The next big Xbox exclusive is none other than Redfall. Arkane’s cooperative game will be released in a few months and got a new gameplay demo at IGN Fan Fest.
Never go out without your stake
Ben Horne, the game’s production manager, was present to talk about the game. We were notably treated to a new gameplay presentation allowing you to see new enemies, certain mechanics during vampire attacks where you will have to have weapons to stakes to complete them.
The game still seems as complete and these presentations greatly help to understand the principles of this new Arkane formula. The director explains that several important elements of the game will be available early in the game and that thanks to the events, the player will never have time to get bored.
The artistic direction mixing cartoon and sordid always seems so promising. All the weapons will be customizable throughout your adventure and the game will allow you to explore its universe the way you want. As you progress, you will unlock more and more powerful vampire nest attacks to overcome this threat.
Redfall will be available on May 2 on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will also be integrated directly on the day of its release in the Xbox Game Pass and the PC Game Pass. Remember that if the Bethesda site suggested that the physical edition of the game will only contain a code, we have since had confirmation that it was an error and that it will indeed contain a disc.
