The Republican boss wants to go further than the sale of gasoline at cost price, implemented for part of the fuel until the end of the year.
The head of the Republicans, Eric Ciotti, advocated on Saturday September 30 a reduction of 15 cents in gasoline taxes to support the purchasing power of the French. After the abandonment of the loss-making fuel sales project, Matignon obtained from the major distribution brands that they sell part of their fuel at cost price until the end of the year. But the deputy for Alpes-Maritimes wants to go further. He suggests, in an interview with Parisian, “a reduction in taxes, around 15 cents at the pump, which represents a cost of 5 billion euros”.

No motion of censure voted on budgetary texts
Qualifying as “budget de camouflage” the finance bill (PLF) presented this week by the Minister of the Economy Bruno Le Maire, Eric Ciotti announced that his party would disclose its counter-budget “in a few days”. On the other hand, the MP for Alpes-Maritimes does not rule out a motion of censure on the immigration bill if the government keeps in its text the principle of regularization of certain undocumented workers in professions in shortage. “We will use all institutional tools of expression to oppose this suicidal regularization”he promises.
