The oil-producing countries want to reduce their production under pressure from Saudi Arabia: one million barrels less per day. This could have an impact on the price of gasoline, but it will all depend on supply and demand.
“If there is an economic slowdown, we will have a surplus of product on the market and therefore, we will have a drop. If there is a good economic recovery, we risk having a good demand. higher than supply and a price increase”explains Olivier Nerinckx, spokesperson for the Federation of Fuel and Fuel Dealers.
Impossible for the moment to know if the fuel will see its price increase or decrease in the long term, because this price difference will only be observable at the pump within two to three months minimum.
