Reflections on 35 Years of ‘My Dearest Weis’: An Interview with Franz Posch

In the summer you celebrated your 70th birthday, now it’s 35 years of “Mei dearest Weis”. What does this anniversary mean to you?
FRANZ POSCH: Of course it makes me incredibly proud. 35 years of “My dearest Weis”. We would never have thought of that back then. Shipwreck was predicted for us even before the first broadcast. It wasn’t common to make music like that live on television. We still got the chance – and took advantage of it. The fact that this will turn into 35 years is simply a sensation for all of us.
