Doha: The registration process for the Haj pilgrimage will begin on the 20th of this month. You can register till October 20. Saudi Arabia has allowed 4,400 pilgrims from Qatar this time. Eligible non-resident pilgrims can also register for Hajj. Auqaf-Islamic Affairs Ministry officials announced these matters in a press conference. The evaluation and approval process of applications will begin in November.

Hajj is permitted for expatriates who are at least 40 years old and have been resident in Qatar for 10 years. They are also allowed to take one person with them as a helper. Registration can be done through the Ministry’s website from 8 am on Wednesday. Hajj tour operators in the country will have time to enter into agreements with Saudi companies regarding the pilgrimage services as the registration process is announced earlier.
