The Selle Français studbook has unveiled the new dates for its training as part of the Young Breeders program. “An opportunity to be seized for all young people aged 16 to 25 wishing to improve their skills in the notions of breeding and presentation techniques for young horses.“, as specified by the tricolor institution by means of a press release.Alongside the experts of the Selle Français studbook, young people benefit from theoretical and practical knowledge in terms of horse evaluation and care, and access the possibility of starting an official Young Breeders course..” Ten dates are offered to interested parties:
November 21, 2023 – Rambouillet (78) November 22, 2023 – Lons-Le-Saunier (39) November 23, 2023 – Rethel (08) November 28, 2023 – Sury-Le-Comtal (42) November 29, 2023 – Verdalle (81) November 30 2023 – Montmorillon (86) 09 January 2024 – Songeons (60) 10 January 2024 – Saint-Hilaire du Harcouët (50) 11 January 2024 – Le Pellerin (44) 16 January 2024 – Ploërmel (56)
A springboard for young people who wish to progress in the breeding sector, the Young Breeders program also allows them to live unique experiences. “Participants in training can then claim the Young Breeders French Championship (the next one will be held in 2025). A stage which, once successful, makes it possible to officially integrate the Young Breeders Selle Français program: the young people then benefit from advanced training courses with a view to the world championships or even to integrate the teams of presenters and rounds of the Stud-Book Selle Français on which the regional associations can count during their breeding competitions“, also indicated the tricolor studbook.
