Every year since 2015, the competition run by the Innovation Outre-Mer association rewards innovative projects.

Objective: to highlight the innovations of island territories, create a real community of dynamic entrepreneurs and contribute to the acceleration of financing solutions for these projects, many of which have an environmental impact.

This year, the winners will benefit from support in an incubator, will have access to the Innovation Outre-Mer network and will be put in contact with investment funds.

The competition, whose call for projects was relayed by French tech Polynesia, is open to VSEs, SMEs, start-ups in operation for a minimum of one year, and to project leaders (only in the Start category) whose activity corresponds to one of the following 8 categories:

  • DeepTech
  • Mobility/Logistics/SmartCity
  • Energy
  • Tourism
  • Education, EdTech
  • Fintech : Banque/Assurance
  • Health/SportTech
  • E-beauty/Cosmetics/Beauty,
  • GreenTech, Agrifood / Agribusiness,
  • Services to people / companies,
  • Artistic activities,

The competition is open to French companies and startups from the invited countries. For this 7th edition, the competition is open to two African countries: Senegal and Côte d’Ivoire.

Last year, La Conserverie de Tahiti received the craft innovation prize.
