The Artistic Gymnasium – High School of the Holy City of Messolonghi offers a rare and valuable opportunity to children who live in our Region and who love theater, painting and dance to utilize their inclinations and talent.
From Monday, May 13 to May 31, applications for the admission of students to one of the directions (Theatre-Cinema, Dance, Visual Arts) begin.
Students are taught general education courses along with art courses, the best for a complete development of children, in a school that leaves room for imagination and creativity, encourages free expression and collaboration.
The process of admitting students to the 1st grade of High School for the school year 2024-2025 begins on Monday, May 13, and in particular, the parents/guardians of the candidate students from May 13 to May 31, 2024 and at 2:00 p.m. must submit together, electronically or in any other convenient way, apply to participate in the selection process (in which they can declare up to two directions) only at the Art School of the area where the candidate lives.
Parents/guardians are obliged to send electronically (by e-mail) or in any other convenient way to the Art School, in addition to the application for participation in the exams in question, the following documents:
1) Public utility bill (water supply or electricity or telephone) or other appropriate means of proof from which the address of the permanent residence of the candidate can be explicitly proven
2) Copy of parents/guardians ID
3) Only for the dance direction:
i. Medical Certificate from a Pathologist or Pediatrician,
ii. Orthopedic Medical Certificate
4) In the event that the student is entitled to be examined orally, a certificate in accordance with articles 53 and 54 of Law 4823/2021 (A’ 136) court decision (temporary order, injunction, final court decision) if and as long as there is no consent of both parents/guardians. It is also possible to present a certificate of non-exercise of legal remedies, in order to make sure that the irrevocability of the court decision has been reached until 16.09.2021 – and therefore the 1519 AK does not apply, according to what is stipulated in the under data Φ1/117162/GD4/ 20-09-2021 circular of the Ministry of Education.
The qualifying exams for the admission of male and female students to the remaining classes of the Gymnasium and Lyceum are held in September of each year.
