The health commission in the State Congress ruled with the endorsement of all political forces, the proposal of representative Ernestina Castro Valenzuela that seeks to regulate aesthetic medicine in Sonora.
The coordinator of the Morena parliamentary group explained that the objective is to provide quality services in the field of aesthetic medicine and thus guarantee the well-being and safety of the patients who come to them, seeking improvements in their physical appearance.
“It is an initiative that was duly cared for, it has the endorsement of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health and the corresponding legal areas of the State Congress, of the Legal Department. We believe that this regulation will mainly benefit health, our focus and our main concern is the health of citizens,” he explained.
The local representative commented that different consultation forums were held to obtain the opinion of different experts on the subject, in municipalities such as Hermosillo, Nogales and Cajeme.
The proposal was approved in the commission unanimously and will be submitted to the plenary session of the State Congress in the last sessions of the month of November.
