On Friday, checks were carried out by the food safety department both at the event itself and at the caterer’s premises. Analytical results for the samples taken will not be available until next week.
As the tageblatt writes, the incident is said to have only involved visitors to the VIP area. Raw salmon was one of the items on the menu in the VIP area.
The Ministry of Health reminds that special caution is required in summer temperatures and strict requirements exist for storing food.
