Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Sand Land and more, has died at the age of 68. The announcement of his death was shared on the Dragon Ball official website. According to the information shared, the manga creator died on March 1 due to an acute subdural hematoma.

His creation, Dragon Ball, became one of the most popular and successful manga in the world, selling more than 250 million copies worldwide, one of the best-selling manga series of all time. 42 volumes of Dragon Ball were released between 1984 and 1995.
