The series team salutes the young actor, who died at the age of 25 in circumstances that have not yet been revealed.

Reactions have been mounting since the death of actor Angus Cloud on Monday at his family’s home in Oakland, California. The members of the Euphoria team, the American series of which the 25-year-old American was one of the stars, take the floor to pay tribute to him.

Starting with Sam Levinson, creator of this program centered on troubled teenagers, worn by actress Zendaya and acclaimed by critics:

“Angus was one of a kind. He was too unique, too talented and far too young to leave us so quickly”, he regrets in a press release relayed by Deadline.

“Like many of us, he was also battling addiction and depression,” he continues. I hope he knows how many hearts he touched. I loved him and always will.”

“Forever a Family”

The circumstances of Angus Cloud’s death have not been revealed. His family said the actor was battling mental health issues and had buried his father, “his best friend”, a week earlier.

Drake, rap superstar and executive producer of Euphoria, also reacted by posting a photo of the young actor on Instagram. “A good soul,” he wrote in the caption.

In this hit series, Angus Cloud played Fezco, a teenager who fell into the drug trade to support his family. And in particular of his little brother, Ashtray, played by the young Javon Walton.

“Rest in peace bro,” the 17-year-old actor captioned a photo of the two actors on Instagram. “Forever a family”, he added in the caption of another photo published in an Instagram story.

Storm Reid, who plays Rue’s little sister – the character of Zendaya – posted a scene from Angus Cloud in an Instagram story, along with the words: “The tears don’t stop”. Colman Domingo, the actor who lends his features to Rue’s godfather in Narcotics Anonymous, also shared a photo with the young comedian who disappeared:

“We couldn’t be more sincere, original and kind (than him). I loved this kid. Always smiling. I hope this sensitive soul has found rest.” And to add: “Watch over your loved ones. Watch over them.”
