Liu Hualin, the coach who helped the Taiwan Beer Basketball Team build the “Green Dynasty”, passed away due to illness at the age of 66.

Liu Hualin, who was born in 1957, is 193 centimeters tall. As a player, he was the center forward of the Chinese team and played for the Flying Camels. After retiring, he became a coach and served as the assistant coach of the Chinese men’s basketball team. In SBL, he served as the general manager of the Dongsen Antelope Basketball Team. Coach and assistant coach of SBL Taiwan Beer, he is the driving force behind Taiwan Beer’s creation of SBL “Green Dynasty” with 6 championships.

Liu Hualin had just retired the year before last, but he was in bad health. In addition to the ineffectiveness of his end-stage kidney function and low blood pressure, he also lost excessive blood due to surgery for gallstones, and his blood clots could not clot. He died after resuscitation failed.
