Mary Beck went to be with the Lord Friday, Sept. 29, 2023 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. She was born Dec. 4, 1925 in Salem, Ohio to the late Orva and Effie (Stallman) Walton of Guilford Lake. Ohio.
Mary graduated from Augusta High School and married Michael Klemann in 1941 and had four children. Michael passed away in 1967. Mary worked for Salem Label and Warren Molded Plastics and then retired to Lakeland, Florida. She moved to Copeland Oaks Assisted Living in 2019. She spent retirement traveling, golfing and tending to her pineapple plants. She made quilts for charity as well as family members and friends. Mary was loved by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Michael Klemann, Francis Lucas and Harry Beck. She is survived by her children, Rosemary (Kenneth) Metzgar of Salem, Jeanne (Francis) Hawkins of North Carolina, Guy (Linda) Klemann of Hanoverton, Marianne (Doug) Hendershott of Colorado and also 10 grandchildren (two deceased) and 22 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at New Garden Methodist Church Oct. 27 at 11 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Aultman Hospice Care.
