Brady’s tribute to Mallett
Brady recently retired from the sport, but took to social media to pay tribute to his former teammate and friend.
“We lost a great man. Thanks for everything Ryan,” he wrote. Brady in an Instagram Story that included a photo of the two at team practice. Patriots. “Praying for the Mallett family and all their loved ones tonight,” Brady added in the post.
After his playing days were over, Mallett began to train the children of White Hall High School in 2022. “It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Coach Ryan Mallett,” the school announced in a statement. “Coach Mallett was a beloved coach and educator. We ask that you remember his family, team, students, fellow coaches and White Hall School District staff in his prayers.”
Mallett I had told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette after what White Hall hired him that he always knew he would become a coach.
“It’s natural for me. I get it. I understand how everything works, and then I love football. You get to teach kids the right way at a young age, and that’s something I really enjoy,” he said.
