JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Singer who graduated from X Factor Indonesia, Shena Malsiana, died on Wednesday (25/10/2023) at 15.37 WIB.
Shena Malsiana breathed her last breath at the age of 32 years. Shena was buried at Grubug TPU, Bojong Nangka, South Tangerang.
The family announced the singer’s death on Shena Malsiana’s Instagram account.

1. Cause of death
Shena Malsiana’s sister, Dhea, said that the singer of “Against the Clouds” died of lupus nephritis.
“Why did Shena die because she had lupus nephritis,” said Dhea via voice message to Kompas.com, Thursday (26/10/2023).

Lupus nephritis is inflammation of the kidneys due to the influence of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or better known as lupus.
Shena was diagnosed with lupus nephritis in 2021. According to Dhea, lupus nephritis attacked Shena’s kidneys.
2. Chronology
That’s why Shena recently had to have regular dialysis. According to Dhea, Shena sometimes had a cough after undergoing dialysis.
As time went on, Shena’s condition worsened. On Tuesday (17/10/2023) last week, Shena experienced a cough, fever and weakness.
Shena then had shortness of breath with a saturation of 93 to 94. The family decided to take Shena to the hospital on Saturday (21/10/2023).

“He was also moved from the ICCU room to the ICU on Monday (23/10/2023) for intubation and an incubator,” said Dhea.
However, Shena’s condition continued to decline. He was declared dead on Wednesday (25/10/2023) at 15.37 WIB.
3. Planning to get married
According to Dhea, her sister is actually planning her wedding.
Shena and her lover plan to get married on March 2 2024. They have also bought a dowry.
In fact, the family also wants to book a place for Shena and her lover’s wedding ceremony at the Istiqlal Mosque, Central Jakarta.
“It’s just a plan that can’t be realized. “It’s also called humans plan but God wills,” said Dhea.

4. The sadness of Shena Malsiana’s friend
Not only Shena’s lover, the friends of the singer of “Against the Clouds” are also saddened by her passing.
One of them, Vidi Aldiano. Vidi recalled the last conversation he had with Shena some time ago when he wished her a birthday.
“Shen, we haven’t met yet. Finally, I want to say happy birthday to you here. Then you just WhatsApp me and ask how I’m doing. “When I asked you how you were, you said no need to ask, no need to worry,” wrote Vidi Aldiano in his upload accompanied by a photo of Shena which he included.
“I’m really sad that you have to leave us first. But I’m sure you’re far from sick,” wrote Vidi.

“Hopefully you know that many of your friends are devastated by pain and sadness today, because we really love you,” continued Vidi.
Singer Rossa also uploaded several photos in a short video containing moments of her time together with Shena.
Rossa, who was once a judge on X Factor Indonesia, wrote about her affection for Shena.
“I love Shena until I die,” he wrote on Instagram @itsrossa910.
