The renowned accordion player Rafael Ricardo Barrios was hospitalized a few days ago at the Gestión Salud clinic in Cartagena after suffering a brain ischemia.

According to local Atlantic media, the accordion player was hospitalized in the ICU, until days later on the night of Wednesday, June 21, his relatives confirmed his death.
Musicians and artists from the accordion player and composer have expressed their condolences at the departure of Barrios.
Who was Rafael Ricardo Barrios?
The musician was born in San Juan Nepomuceno, in the department of Bolívar and was a partner of the singer Otto Serge.
