Legendary pop singer Tony Bennett (96) has died. He died in New York on Friday. Sources close to him confirmed the death. He has won 20 Grammy Awards and Emmy Awards for his overall contribution to music.
He was suffering from Alzheimer’s since 2016. In 2011, it was with Lady Gaga that he finally reached the stage.
Anthony Dominic Benedito was born Tony Bennett in Long Island, USA in 1926. The first album was released in 1952.
