Someone bilious and envious will hasten to quip about the inappropriateness of “old people in power.” Someone thoughtfully keep silent, formulating something important to himself. It will take some time for the cost of this loss to become clear. He was one of those most worthy, those “piece” people who did a lot for all the inhabitants of the region. The heyday of his political activity fell on the most difficult for the whole country
He also added that Vladimir Varnavsky consistently implemented the ideas of territorial parliamentarism, was the author of many legislative initiatives, which were also reflected in federal legislation.
“For me, his passing away from life is something irreparable, something that doesn’t fit either in my heart or in my head. Twenty-two years of joint activity. We have lived through the most interesting and most exhausting times together. What the Omsk region has overcome and achieved over the years (and it undoubtedly has achieved), the region owes to the honest economic and political position that the legislature showed, the most worthy person of which was Vladimir Varnavsky. Irreparable loss for the region, family, colleagues, friends. We can only gratefully remember: to keep in our soul a piece of his charisma, oratorical power, worldly wisdom. I am sure that everyone who has ever worked, was friends with him, and simply knew this person, will themselves make this decision – to remember. Blessed memory, Vladimir Alekseevich, and may the earth rest in peace to you,” concluded Leonid Polezhaev.
