In-Tech now also offers the easymon app for Beckhoff controllers with an ADS interface. Users can access live data and receive an ad hoc notification if manual intervention is necessary.
The software is now available for download on the easymon landing page. “Until now, our mobile application was reserved for users of PLCnext controllers from Phoenix Contact. We are therefore very pleased to have gained another strong partner in Beckhoff Automation,” says Tobias Wagner, Managing Director at in-tech. System parameters that should not exceed a certain value can be monitored with easymon. To do this, the connector accesses the ADS interface of the controller to read variables. Data points to be monitored can be selected via the web interface and criteria for notification can be defined. In addition, the easymon app is installed on a mobile device that communicates with the machine via a cloud service.
