French coach Hervé Renard, the coach of the French first women’s football team, opened his career perfectly, following his team came from behind 2-0 once morest his Colombian counterpart to a great victory “5-2”, in a test match on Friday, as part of his preparations for the 2023 Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Renard took over the leadership of his country’s women’s national team following spending 3 years with the Saudi national team, during which he achieved outstanding results, including the “2-1” victory over Argentina in the 2022 World Cup group stage, before the latter crowned the title later.
The French national team is waiting for three more test matches once morest Canada, Ireland and Australia before the start of its campaign in the World Cup, which begins on the 20th of next July.
France is facing the World Cup challenge in Group E, along with Brazil, Panama and Jamaica.
