On September 13, 2023, Congo Terminal announced the renewal of its ISO 9001 certification for its activity “management of the Pointe-Noire container terminal: loading/unloading of containers, storage of transhipment containers, delivery of import containers and reception of export containers “.
This certification highlights Congo Terminal’s commitment to providing customers with quality service. Following an in-depth audit which was carried out from August 7 to 11, 2023 by Bureau Veritas, a multinational inspection, physical testing and certification company, the management system was recognized as fully effective. The ISO 9001 certificate was thus renewed for a three-year cycle.

ISO 9001 is an international reference standard which establishes the requirements relating to the quality management system. It helps businesses become more efficient and increase customer satisfaction. Congo Terminal obtained its first ISO 9001 certification in June 2017. The company is also certified as compliant with the ISPS (port security) code. Congo Terminal is now aiming for Green Terminal environmental labeling and ISO 14001 environmental certification.
