Speaking about the decision in a statement you can read in full below, Sad Cat noted that it has an “incredibly high standard of community expectations,” meaning it can’t “release games that are subpar.” As part of the announcement, we also got a glimpse of the development and how it’s progressing. Most systems are now operational, we’re told, and the team is in an “ultra-intensive asset production phase.” Sad Cat also specifically added, “Development is progressing steadily.
