Repolling process continues in 15 districts of Sindh – Pakistan

Re-elections are being held in 27 union councils of 15 districts of Sindh, where the polling process is going on from 8 am and polling will continue till 5 pm.

The Grand Democratic Alliance boycotted the election in Ward No. 5 of Tehsil Kot Diji of Khairpur and accused the police of taking the agents hostage.

Polling during the second phase was held today due to confusion and delayed polling due to various reasons.

In total, repolling is taking place in 27 Union Councils, District Jacobabad, Kashmore, Shikarpur, Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, Sukkur, Khairpur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Mirpur Khas, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Hyderabad. In Jamshoro and Badin, re-polling is going on for the seats of the categories of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Member District Council, General Members.

A total of 81 polling stations have been set up for polling, out of which one for men, 22 for women and 38 joint polling stations have been set up. The number of registered voters in 15 districts is one lakh 9 thousand 687.
