Reports: A change in Manchester United’s attitude towards Ronaldo’s future

English reports revealed that a change has occurred in the position of Manchester United club and coach Eric Ten Hag towards the future of the club. Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portugal captain asked to leave the club last month, and was not present on the Red Devils’ pre-season tour to Thailand and Australia.

Ronaldo returned to training for the first time on Tuesday, but was joined by his agent Jorge Mendes on his way to Carrington.

Ronaldo held talks with Manchester United officials as he stuck to his position on leavingKnowing that he is looking forward to playing in the Champions League next season.

Ten Hag insisted all summer that Ronaldo was not for sale, and that he was planning for next season with the Portuguese in mind.

However, Anthony Martial impressed Ten Hag during pre-season, along with Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

There is now a feeling at Old Trafford that the club’s best service is to cut ties with Ronaldo, and that reintegrating him into the group could prove more difficult, despite his apparent quality.

And the English newspaper, “Metro”, reported, quoting the global network, “Sky Sports”, that Manchester United’s general position had not changed, regarding the refusal to sell Cristiano Ronaldo.

She explained that despite this, the board of directors and Ten Hag agreed behind the scenes to listen to upcoming offers from clubs wishing to include the 37-year-old.

United paid Juventus £12m to sign Ronaldo last summer, and they wanted a similar fee to let him go this time.

The problem, however, is that the number of suitors to Ronaldo appears to be dwindling, with Bayern Munich withdrawing from the race, while Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel objected to the move, after Todd Boehle held talks with Mendes.

Atlético Madrid is the latest club to play down talk of Ronaldo transfer. After the statements made by President Enrique Cerezo.
