Rescue Operation: Brussels Firefighters Save Man Buried under Tiles in Molenbeek Depot

This Wednesday morning, the Brussels firefighters were called to Molenbeek, rue Vanderstichelen, to rescue a person buried under a pile of tiles in a building materials depot.

“People present had already partially cleared the unfortunate man. The firefighters stabilized and secured the scene, to allow the medical teams to work in complete safety”, indicates the spokesperson for the firefighters. The victim was conscious during the rescue, and was taken to hospital. “The vital prognosis is, at first glance, not engaged.”
