Reshetnikov proposed to soften the requirements for the organizers of tours to Belarus

Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov said that his department will consider the possibility of reducing the amount of insurance premium for tour operators who organize tours to Belarus. He explained this by the growth of the tourist flow to Belarus.

“We have very warm relations between the states, the tourist flow is growing, in connection with which we consider it possible to make an indulgence for Russian tour operators and make an exception for the Republic of Belarus and amend the Federal Law,” Mr. Reshetnikov said at a meeting with representatives of the tourism business in Bashkiria (quote from RIA Novosti).

According to the head of the Ministry of Economy, work is also underway to synchronize legislation in the tourism industry. Within the framework of the union program, the norms for the work of guides-interpreters, as well as the norms for protecting the rights of a tourist in the event of an operator’s inability to perform tourist services, will be unified.
