Turkey, Syria earthquake: UAE launches public donation campaign

Abu Dhabi ∙ The UAE has launched a public donation campaign to support earthquake survivors in Turkey and Syria. Financial assistance can be provided to those in need using the Emirates Red Crescent website.

People have the option of donating to relief efforts via Pay Pal, credit card, bank transfer or text message. Financial support can be made through the Emirates Red Crescent donation page and the Sharjah Charity International website.

Centers have been opened at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, Dubai Exhibition Center and Expo City in the UAE’s drive to help those affected by the disaster, which claimed more than 20,000 lives. Donations will be accepted fortnightly from 9 am to 2 pm. For information: volunteers.ae
