Statbel, the Belgian statistical office, has published residential property prices for the first quarter of 2023. The median price (Statbel works with median rather than average prices, as they do not take extremes into account) for a house 2 and 3 facades amounted to €260,000. This is €5,000 more than in the first quarter of 2022 and €35,000 more than in the first quarter of 2021. more than in 2021. For apartments, the median price was €235,000 (+€10,000 compared to 2022 and +€25,000 than in 2021).
Compared to the first quarter of 2022, the median prices of 2 and 3 front houses increased by 2%. For houses with 4 facades, the increase is 2.8%. Apartment prices rose 4.4%.
