The Geological Institute updated this evening (Saturday) that around 20:40 an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.4 was felt in the north of the country and in Sharon, east of Hadera. Residents from the Haifa area reported that they felt the earthquake. Despite this, no inquiries were received at the 100 hotline in the coastal district. No damage or casualties were reported.

Ten days ago, a 3.8 magnitude noise was felt in the north of the country. Residents in the Hula Valley and Kinneret area reported at the time that they felt the earthquake. Following the noise, alarms were activated in several schools throughout the Jordan Valley.
