“Notice of receipt may be submitted along with expired permanent resident card as evidence of continued status, as well as identification document and employment authorization under List A of Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification), if it is filed before the expiration date of the 24-month extension period provided in the notification,” he explained.
