Vienna (OTS) – On behalf of the VMF group we represent, we announce that the restructuring of the group of companies will have to be initiated at VMF Vermögensverwaltung GmbH and VMF Capital Invest GmbH in order to preserve the company. The company is currently preparing the necessary restructuring measures and will ask creditors for debt relief. The reason for this is the difficult situation on the real estate market, which is particularly the case with residential projects.
The price increases for the completion of construction projects as well as the current market situation have led to a delay in the realization of projects. It will therefore also be necessary to wind up individual project companies as part of insolvency proceedings in order to preserve the group.
The aim is to restructure the VMF group as part of a restructuring process with self-administration in order to achieve an orderly winding-up in a reasonable time.
