From April 18 to April 27, 2024, the republican decade of social and patriotic affairs “Chernobyl. Keeping the memory…”
The purpose of the events was to tell students regarding the Chernobyl tragedy, to help them develop environmental knowledge, use it in educational and practical activities, develop an active life position, and cultivate a sense of compassion.
Throughout the entire decade, the institutions held events aimed at developing in students a culture of respect for the historical, cultural and natural heritage of the country by drawing their attention to the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Thematic information and class hours were held for students in grades 1-11: “Chernobyl tragedy – pain and sadness”, “Chernobyl: destinies, events, memory”, “Chernobyl. Preserving the memory…”, “Chernobyl: yesterday, today, tomorrow”, “Chernobyl: remember in order to live”, “April 26 – Day of the Chernobyl tragedy”, “Chernobyl – black reality”, “Chernobyl – our pain”, “Trace of Chernobyl “”, “Chernobyl… We must know and remember”, “Heroes of Chernobyl”, “Chernobyl in the heart and memory of the people”, “Chernobyl: bitter memory and eternal pain”, “Chernobyl – the pain of the Earth”, “Chernobyl: destinies, events , dates”, “Chernobyl through the prism of years” and others.
Exhibitions of drawings, photographs, posters, collages, photo collages were organized: “A World without Nuclear Disasters”, “Chernobyl: Ecology, Human Health”, “Chernobyl: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow”, “Under the Blue Sky”, “Chernobyl – My Pain” , “Chernobyl: ecology, people, health”, “You can become a hero in peaceful life”, “I draw this world.”
In the museums of the institutions, expositions and rotating exhibitions were created regarding the history of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, regarding the liquidation of the consequences of the radiation accident, regarding the feat of the heroic liquidators.
In the libraries of educational institutions there are exhibitions of literature: “Chernobyl accident 38 years of history”, “Chernobyl – black pain”, “Chernobyl. Preserving the memory”, “Through a book – in memory and hearts”, “Trace of the black wind”, “Chernobyl: a tragedy of the twentieth century”, “Chernobyl: tragedy, feat, warning”.
Students were offered films and videos to watch: “The Bell of Chernobyl”, “Aurora”, “The Battle of Chernobyl”, “Moths”, “Chernobyl – Chronicles of Difficult Weeks”, “Chernobyl”, “Nuclear Hell: How Chernobyl Became an Exclusion Zone” , “Peaceful time. The place of the feat is Chernobyl”, “One second before the disaster”, “Chronology of events before the Chernobyl accident”, “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone”, “Chernobyl. Zone of Silence”, “Chernobyl: The Lost World”, “Black Stork”, “Atomic Zone Ranger”, “Disintegration”.
Teachers produced and distributed among students and parents information booklets “Chernobyl: yesterday, today, tomorrow”, “Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Chronicles. Events. Data”.
Among students of educational institutions Vileysky district, essay competitions “Chernobyl – the pain of the Earth”, a competition of videos and multimedia presentations “Twenty seconds that shocked the world” were held in educational institutions Minsky district – competition of research papers “Environmental problems of Belarus. Solutions”, competition of creative projects “In the world of landscape design”, crossword competition “Ecology and Me”.
Students of educational institutions Volozhinsky, Dzerzhinsky, Lyubansky, Slutsky, Molodechno districts took an active part in environmental labor campaigns for landscaping and landscaping “Green World”, “Garden of Hope”, “Clean Park”, “The Earth is our home, let’s put things in order”, “Save the tree”, “We are for cleanliness and order on earth”, “Chernobyl – a look through the years”, “Chernobyl – a look through the years”, “Protecting nature”, “Clean Forest”, “Chernobyl – a look through the years”.
IN Chervensky, Uzdensky, Stolbtsovsky, Pukhovichsky districts, dialogue platforms “Chernobyl – our pain and memory”, “Chernobyl. Preserving the memory”, “Glory to the heroes of Chernobyl”, round tables “Courage and pain of Chernobyl”, “Chernobyl. From overcoming the consequences of the accident to the dynamic development of the affected areas”, “The Motherland has never known trouble like this…”. IN Borisovsky, Kletsky, Kopylsky, Krupsky, Myadelsky, Nesvizhsky, Soligorsk areas – memory lessons and requiem lessons, lessons of courage and memory “This must not happen once more”, “Chernobyl bells”, “Chernobyl. Preserving the memory”, “Chernobyl: our history, our pain…”, “Lessons of Chernobyl”, “Remember for the sake of the future”, “Chernobyl – our pain”, “After 38 years”, “Piteous ringing over the edge – Chernobyl”, “Place feat – Chernobyl.”
IN Zhodino Requiem rallies were held dedicated to the memory of the Chernobyl tragedy with the laying of flowers near the memorial sign in honor of the Zhodino residents who took part in the liquidation of the consequences of the nuclear accident, on the territory of the Church of St. Michael the Archangel.
For students of educational institutions Logoisky district, a meeting “Chernobyl through the eyes of witnesses” was organized with the liquidator of the Chernobyl accident, Alexander Evgenievich Grin.
A minute of remembrance dedicated to each deceased has become traditional in all educational institutions of the Minsk region.
We must remember the names of those who became heroes in peacetime and gave their lives for the lives of other people!
