Do you like calm, contemplative settings and reading tons of subtitles? Perfect, we are at least two, and soon satisfied: Return to Graceand walking-sim narrative taking place in a science fiction universe with sixties accents, is scheduled for May 30. We are promised a branching narrative adventure, in which we will play a space archaeologist, who will try to understand why an ancient artificial intelligence, considered as the greatest technological achievement of humanity, was deactivated 900 years ago.
What this trailer shows us inevitably makes us think of The Invinciblewhich features somewhat similar headset setup and gameplay, The Entropy Center for the decorations, and Portal 2 for AI shards with different personalities. And that’s pretty exciting.
Return to Grace is therefore scheduled for May 30 on Steam and theEpic Games Store.
