Pizza and other takeaway foods may contain dangerous carcinogens that cause cancer, experts say. Thus, harmful chemical compounds enter food through contact with packaging that is treated with polyfluoroalkyl substances to make it waterproof and grease-repellent. However, PFAS formulations are often applied to paper, which is then placed in a pizza box, on packaging for some baked goods and other take-away dishes.
In addition to pizza, red meat, all types of smoked meats, dried meat and alcohol have a negative effect on the body. Cancer cells can also appear due to a lack of fiber, which binds toxins and promotes their elimination.
