ALGIERS – The government examined, Thursday during its weekly meeting, the progress of the digitization project of the finance sector, in particular the tax, customs and national domain services, indicates a communiqué of the Prime Minister’s Office.
“The government heard a joint communication presented by the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Digitization and Statistics on the progress of the digitization project of the finance sector, in particular the tax, customs and national domain”, specifies the press release published at the end of the government meeting, chaired by the Prime Minister, Mr. Aïmene Benabderrahmane.
The presentation reviewed the state of progress of the various projects included in the context of the digitization of services in the finance sector as well as the efforts and the human and material resources mobilized in order to concretize the roadmap drawn up by the public authorities, we add in the same text.
In this regard, “the establishment of a permanent monitoring system for the realization of the first phase within the set deadlines was underlined, in particular the launch of the various digital platforms which should provide more facilitation for the deposit and recovery digitized documents and the electronic payment of the various fees and taxes, by providing online public services to citizens and professionals”, according to the press release.
